FuneralGuestbook.app
Honor a loved oneA loved one has passed

A guestbook for the service, and a record of everyone who visited.

You set it up on your phone in a few minutes. Guests scan a QR code and sign on their own phones, or sign on an iPad at the service. Afterward, every name and message comes back to you.

$50 for one service. It is not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel.

Start a guestbook

It runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Start free, or pay $50 once to keep everything.

The app is free to download. You pay the $50 when you set up the service.

How it works

Three steps. You can do all of them the night before.

  1. 01

    Start the guestbook

Type the name of the person you are honoring, and add a photo if you like. It takes a few minutes in your browser, and there is an app if you want one.

  2. 02

    Set out the QR code

Show the QR code on a phone or an iPad where guests arrive, or print it out. You can do this the night before.

  3. 03

    Guests sign from their phones

Guests point their camera at the QR code and sign. They do not install anything. On an iPad, they sign with a stylus, the same way they would sign a paper book.

Afterward

What comes back to you.

After the service, you get everything your guests wrote, in their own handwriting.

  • You get every name and message, exactly as each guest wrote it.
  • We send it to you after the service, and it is yours to keep.
  • You can print it, share it with family, or keep it as it is.
Before you start

Questions families ask.

What do I need?
Just a phone. Guests scan a QR code and sign on their own phones. If you set out an iPad at the service, guests can sign on it with a stylus.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay $50 once, for one service. There is nothing to cancel.
What if more people come than we expect?
There is no limit. Everyone who wants to sign can sign.
What happens to what guests write?
It goes to you. We do not sell it. We never use anything written in the book to advertise, to you or to anyone who signs, and we never send it to an advertising platform. This page, your book, and the page a guest signs on do carry advertising measurement, so we can see which of our ads bring families here. On the signing page, that measurement counts the visit and reads nothing that is written.
Can the funeral home set it up instead?
Yes, and many do. If your funeral home uses Funeral Guestbook, you do not need this page.

When you are ready.

It takes a few minutes, and it can wait until the night before.
